This simple but good dish takes part to our traditional cooking. Cut some slices of stale bread and toast them on the embers (or in the toaster), then rub them with garlic and season them with olive oil and a pinch of salt. You have to serve it absolutely hot. Once, people used to prepare it by the mills where toasted bread was dipped into the oil bags. Prepare this dish on some large bowls, so that bread will get almost covered by the oil. Besides, the whole operation of seasoning should be very quick or else, the dish will loose its fragance.
