Roll out the meat (sliced meat) upon the wood-board. Sprinkle with a little salt and pepper. Arrange a slice of ham along with a leaf of bay upon them. Fix them to the meat by a toothpick, as it was a pin. Display the meat on a pan with some olive oil and cook them for some minutes on both sides, under a lively heat. Serve them hot with the cooking sauce, along with boiled vegetables or a green salad.
