Ingredients: 1cup of dry, white wine; 1 cup of sugar; 1 cup of olive oil; aniseeds to taste; flour. At Antrodoco people eat them with wine and they make them in this way: depress a heap of flour upon a surface and pour out all the ingredients at the center. Knead them and make of the dough many little ring-shapes. Arrange them on an oily baking-pan, sprinkled with flour.Bake them in the oven at 200° for twenty minutes. Turn them out and remove them with a knife point. Serve them cold.
